Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I like to use letters to spread boundless joy, endless hope, and the truth that we are dearly loved by Him.

Whether it be typed words in blog posts, hand-lettered script on artwork, or painted words and flowers on covers of Bibles, I hope you can find something here that makes you smile.

Why The Flourish Studio?

 I believe that no detail is too small to God. When choosing the name for my business, I prayed and asked Him to show me what He wanted this space to be.  What purpose did He have in mind? 

I was led to Habakkuk 2:2. “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

This verse is power packed with meaning in each word.  You can read more about my mission with The Flourish Studio and the fire that this verse sets in my heart in this post.  But to condense it, this verse boils down to two things: write and run.

Write the glorious truth, hope, and love God is speaking to His people.  Make it plain and clear and, in my case, covered in florals and flourishes.  Then run – be a herald, a messenger.  Proclaim the beautiful Gospel from the mountaintops so that we and those we encounter may flourish in the life that He has given us.
